Rosie Pope’s reality series Pregnant in Heels features some very demanding Manhattan moms and their very specific gestational needs. And it earned its very own Saturday Night Live spoof, featuring Tina Fey as a client who doesn’t want to cut her umbilical cord because she might return the baby.
“I loved it. Honestly, it’s one of the greatest honors of my career,” says Pope, a New York-based pregnancy concierge.
Pope has teamed up with Pampers to promote the brand’s Limited Edition Prints diapers. She jokes that she won’t potty-train her own two sons “because diapers are very convenient for me.”
As for her show, Pope doesn’t know if Bravo will order a second season. “We’ll find out soon,” she says. “The show is going well. The couples are all real clients and everything they ask me to do is their idea.”
Yes, she’s referring to the pregnant bride having a meltdown, or the couple using a focus group to name their son.
