To accommodate an overwhelming demand for tickets to see Nicholas Sparks speak, the University of Louisiana at Monroe has moved the event to a bigger venue — the Civic Center’s W.L. “Jack” Howard Theatre.

Sparks, prolific author of 17 novels, seven of which have been adapted as films, will be the next renowned speaker at ULM’s Lyceum Series.

The event is still set for 7 p.m. Feb. 2. The Patron Party will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Civic Center.

Additional tickets will be available for purchase online beginning Wednesday at www.ulmtickets.com.

Each student may get a free ticket by visiting www.ulmtickets.com and entering his or her ULM email address. Tickets cost $10 for faculty and staff; $25 for general admission and $50 for Patron Party tickets. Visit www.ulm.edu/lyceum for additional information on ULM’s Presidential Lyceum Series.
