The Examiner : Sarasota Film Festival releases schedule

(Tampa Bay, FL) The Sarasota Film Festival (SFF) officially announced its complete 2012 Festival program, which will feature over 230 films from 30 nations, Monday evening at a press conference at Sarasota’s Selby Gardens. The SFF, one of the largest regional film festivals in the United States, kicks off on April 13th with the previously announced “Robot & Frank” starring Frank Langella on opening night and Todd Solondz’s “Dark Horse” slated as the Festival Centerpiece and Joe Berlinger’s “Under African Skies” serving as the festival’s closing night film.

Frank Langella and Jake Schreier are scheduled to attend the festival with “Robot & Frank”. Todd Solondz will be on hand to present “Dark Horse” and  Documentary filmmaker Rory Kennedy will attend to present her new film “Ethel” about her mother Ethel Kennedy. Dominic Monaghan (“Lost, The Lord of the Rings” Trilogy) and Ashley Bell (“The Last Exorcism”) will be on hand to present WWE Studio’s new horror thriller “The Day”.
