Michael Lewis
, the author of Boomerang: Travels in the New Third World discusses the European debt crisis, describes what he feels are the problems with the euro and explains how the U.S. is impacted by the crisis.

After studying at Princeton, earning a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and working for Salomon Brothers—an experience he described in his book Liar’s Poker—Michael Lewis found success as a financial journalist and best-selling author. His titles include two that have been adapted for features (The Blind Side and Moneyball). The New Orleans native is also a contributing editor for Vanity Fair and was a visiting fellow at UC Berkeley. Lewis’ latest text is Boomerang: Travels in the New Third World, about the greediness of debtor nations.
