BILLY BEANE transformed baseball and now he’s working on corporate America.
The Oakland A’s General Manager, who’s portrayed by Oscar nominee Brad Pitt in “Moneyball,” is in demand with businesses that want him to deliver his “Moneyball Philosophy” to their ranks.
Beane, who works with Greater Talent Network, the NYC-based speakers bureau that also reps “Moneyball” author Michael Lewis among other heavy hitters, has brought his message of pragmatic, analysis-based change to IBM, SEO search company Covario and Villanova Law School, among others.
Beane may not yet be making Mitt Romney money, but an insider tells us his fee is “mid-five figures and rising.” GTN CEO Don Epstein declined to discuss fees, but did say that Beane’s presentation is “the ultimate corporate content program” that combines, “sports, celebrity” and “using your existing potential to maximize winning.”
