NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The cronut craze has taken New York by storm. Foodies have been lining up, even threatening legalaction over the creamy pastries.
For many the pastry pilgrimage begins before dawn when they line up outside of SoHo’s Dominique Ansel Bakery.
“I’ve been sucked into the craze of trying to find out what they really taste like,” one woman told CBS 2′s Mo Rocca.
She may have been on line, but it’s sometimes hours before patrons are actually able to get her hands on one of the popular pastries, which take up to three days to prepare.
