Two speakers from different ends of the political spectrum will be visiting the University of Florida this week.
Actor Danny Glover visits UF’s Phillips Center for the Performing Arts tonight as part of the university’s activities this month honoring Martin Luther King Jr.
Glover will speak in a moderated discussion about his acting career, his civil rights activism and King’s legacy, said Kevin Ahmaad Jenkins, president of the Black Graduate Student Organization and the event moderator.
“He has an interesting perspective beyond his career,” Jenkins said.
