Dark Knight Rises Executive Producer Michael Uslan Helping Children Achieve Their Dreams
Michael Uslan, one of the executive producers of the anticipated ‘Dark Knight Rises,’ is teaching children how to achieve their goals in his new memoir, ‘The Boy Who Loved Batman.’ He was such a big fan of the Batman comic books as a child that he went after his goal of seeing his name in print next to the characters of Gotham City.
Uslan wrote in ‘The Boy Who Loved Batman’ that there are several steps children can take in order to make their dreams come true. The first step is to know your passion. Uslan isn’t the only child who loves comic books, but he knew that they are what he really cares about, and was determined to become a part of them.
‘The Boy Who Loved Batman’ also teaches that people shouldn’t be a passive bystander, but instead should participate to achieve their goals. Uslan pointed to such technology as social networking cites, blogs and websites in order to gain exposure and create opportunities.
Uslan also advises that people should identify objectives that will take them to their goals. He added that no one has to bend to the expectations of others, but instead create circumstances that will work in their favor.
Lastly, Uslan wrote that people can learn from their problems, instead of allow them to distract them from their goals. People have to learn how to efficiently manage their time and become very self-disciplined.
