What with Halloween and the season premiere of The Walking Dead nearly upon us, you might well be thinking, “How do I escape the zombie apocalypse?”
We’re here to serve: On Tuesday (Oct. 9), Max Brooks, author of The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, will offer “10 lessons for surviving an attack of the ghoulish creatures” at the University of North Texas, University Union (Silver Eagle Suite), Denton. Tickets are $20 for the general public — a great deal if it keeps you from getting munched by the living dead. Brooks will sign books after his talk.
