This remarkable true story profiles the inspirational figure of Dewey Bozella, a man who was imprisoned for a murder he didn’t commit. He found strength in boxing during his unjust incarceration, becoming light heavyweight champion of the notoriously tough Sing Sing prison in New York. And although he was given the chance to walk free after six years if he just admitted the murder, he maintained his innocence, spending 26 years inside until he was finally exonerated. This revealing documentary follows his attempt to fulfill his dream of fighting in a professional boxing match, at the incredible age of 52.
