What members-only flash-sale sites like Gilt have done for clothes shopping a new site called Exhibition A (exhibitiona.com) is attempting to do for art buying. The site, which is already live but won’t start selling prints until Monday, is a collaboration between fashion designer Cynthia Rowley and gallery owner Bill Powers, who will be curating an all-star lineup of limited-edition, exclusive pieces by the likes of Terence Koh, David LaChapelle, Richard Phillips, and Nate Lowman. Each week a different print goes up for sale, appearing on the site and in subscribers’ in-boxes (there are no membership restrictions), all priced between $100 to $500. The site also features interviews with art insiders like Simon de Pury, Kim Hastreiter, and Sante D’Orazio. Through January 15, select pieces will also be on view and purchasable at the Gagosian Shop (988 Madison Ave., at. 77th St.; 212-744-9200)
