Jonathan Tisch

Chairman & CEO of Loews Hotels,
Leading Authority on Partnerships

Exclusive Representation by Greater Talent Network

One of the most successful chief executives in the multibillion-dollar travel and tourism industry, Jonathan Tisch embodies keys to success in challenging business environments. As Chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels, Tisch has engineered the highly profitable expansion of the luxury chain by infusing all of his hotels and resorts with an acclaimed corporate culture that places high value on partnerships.

Author of two best-selling books, The Power of We: Succeeding Through Partnerships (2004) and Chocolates on the Pillow Aren’t Enough: Re-Inventing the Customer Experience (2007), Tisch demonstrates how his philosophy of the power of partnerships can be put to work for the success of all businesses that strategically partner with their customers, co-workers, communities, government, owners and even their competitors in order to achieve lasting success for all.

In his most recent book, Citizen You: Doing Your Part to Change the World, Tisch evolves his partnership philosophy one step further by illustrating how individuals can change the world by partnering with their communities and how companies can improve the bottom line by combining profit with social improvement. Tisch writes about the importance of successful partnering across all sectors including the social entrepreneur with big business.

Some of Tisch’s accolades include being named Crain’s New York Business’ “Top Ten Most Influential Leaders in Business”; Travel Agent’s Hotel Person of the Year; and Meeting News’ 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry.

Tisch illustrated his hands-on management style in the TLC television series “Now Who’s Boss?”, a television show placing company executives down the organizational chart to perform front-line jobs. His TLC experience of partnering with his employees by doing their jobs, from bellhop to cook, led Tisch to institute a “Now Who’s Boss? Day” for Loews Hotels senior management to ensure a company-wide practice of strategic partnering.

In a series of one-on-one interviews, Tisch also speaks with America’s pre-eminent business luminaries on the television show Beyond the Boardroom with Jonathan Tisch. Tisch provides an intimate look at the personalities behind the CEO and shows the viewer insight into the driving forces behind current corporate strategies.

A champion of corporate and civic responsibility, Tisch served (2002-2008) as Chairman of NYC & Company—the city’s official tourism marketing organization. He also serves as Chairman Emeritus of the United States Travel Association, the Board of Trustees for Tufts University, the Tribeca Film Institute and the Business Council of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in addition to the Board of Directors for the Loews Corporation. Tisch is also Treasurer of Superbowl XLII champions, the NY Giants.

At the lecture podium, Tisch is an informed, articulate and engaging speaker with an appealing personal style. In the service-driven and highly competitive climate of modern business, the lessons he presents are prescient and essential for the success of any organization.
