Ben Crenshaw

U.S. Ryder Team Captain & two-time PGA Masters Champion

Ben Crenshaw's respect and love for the game of golf has captivated sports fans around the world. Winner of 19 PGA titles, including two Masters Tournaments and four international titles, he captured the cover of Sports Illustrated by guiding the 1999 U.S. Ryder Cup Team to the most stunning come-from-behind victory in the history of the event. His charisma, talent and grace under pressure have made him a gallery favorite from his days at the University of Texas, where he was heralded as the next Jack Nicklaus, to the 1984 Masters Tournament, where he cemented his place in golf history by winning his first major championship title.

Branching into new arenas, Crenshaw has also proven himself a skilled businessman and architect. He continues to build the excellent reputation of his architecture firm, Coore & Crenshaw, which has received numerous awards and recognition for planning some of the nation's most prestigious golf courses. Crenshaw also serves as president of Crenshaw Golf, a golf course acquisition and management firm. He is currently at work on his eagerly anticipated memoir, entitled Golf from the Heart.

Now Crenshaw brings the same passion and energy that have defined his career to the lecture podium. The ideal motivational speaker on teamwork, his leadership, poise and strategic planning in the 1999 Ryder Cup fired up his team to a breathtaking triumph. Crenshaw's strategies for success have also inspired such corporate powerhouses as Lehman Brothers, Dell Computer and Motorola.
